Melissa and Logan could not have asked for a better wedding day. Earlier in the week we had tropical storms hit our area from Hurricane Michael and the heavy amounts of rain made me very nervous for their outdoor wedding, but by the time Saturday rolled around, the sky was a beautiful Carolina blue, the ground was dry and the temperature was an amazing 70 degrees. Absolutely perfect!
With every wedding I photograph, I can never decide which is my favorite part. There is the emotional moment when the father of the bride walks his daughter down the aisle, or when the groom sees the bride for the first time in her perfectly fitted dress, or the first kiss as husband and wife. And then there are all of the first dances. There are too many emotional, heart-warming moments to choose just one.
Melissa and Logan’s wedding was no different. Logan was calm, cool and collected the whole time, joining his father in walking his mom down the aisle. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were gorgeous, and the flower girl and ring bearer could not have been any more adorable. Then there was Melissa, escorted down the aisle by her father, looking absolutely stunning as she joined Logan at the altar.
My favorite part though, of this wedding, was the reception. I don’t say that often, but the entire evening was filled will laughing, salsa dancing, and genuine fun and excitement by the entire guest list. By the time the night ended, Mr. Faircloth (father of the groom) was escorting me out onto the dance floor, refusing to take no for an answer, and we moved around the dance floor one quick time before the grand exit of the bride and groom.
I am so honored to have been able to be a part of this amazing wedding, for such an amazing couple.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Faircloth!
